DAc, EAMP
Dr. Andromeda, DAc, EAMP is a Doctor of Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine practitioner licensed in Washington State. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and began her medical training at the UNC School of Medicine before pursuing advanced study in East Asian medicine.
She later completed her Doctor of Acupuncture degree at Bastyr University, a leading institution for integrative and natural medicine in the Pacific Northwest. As part of her professional training, Dr. Andromeda completed specialized clinical training in Japan, where she studied traditional Japanese acupuncture techniques and refined needling methods.
Dr. Andromeda’s clinical focus includes women’s health, fertility support, pain management, autoimmune conditions, oncology care, facial acupuncture, and mental-emotional well-being. She takes an individualized approach to treatment, integrating classical East Asian medical principles with modern clinical understanding to support each patient’s overall health and resilience, and values thoughtful collaboration within integrative care teams.
Her approach to healing has also been shaped by international experiences that deepened her understanding of traditional healing systems and culturally informed approaches to patient care. She apprenticed with Indigenous healers in the Peruvian Amazon, where she was introduced to traditional plant medicine and the ways in which knowledge of these medicines is transmitted through lived practice and mentorship. She has also volunteered in coastal communities in Costa Rica and supported Tibetan refugee communities in Nepal—experiences that continue to inform her compassionate and globally informed approach to patient care.
