Xavier Aponte
M.S., DAOM
Dr. Xavier G. Aponte is a licensed Doctor of Acupuncture with advanced graduate training in naturopathic medicine and Chinese herbal medicine. His clinical approach blends East Asian medicine with modern integrative principles to support the body’s natural capacity for healing, regulation, and long-term resilience. He is originally from Puerto Rico, and is fluent in Spanish.
He works with a broad range of conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, sports-related injuries, chronic pain syndromes, stress and nervous system dysregulation, digestive health, hormonal balance, and reproductive health. Dr. Aponte also supports patients through fertility and family-building journeys, while maintaining a whole-person approach that extends far beyond any single area of care.
His clinical focus includes sports medicine–based acupuncture, pain management, and myofascial work, with specialized use of trigger point therapy, electroacupuncture, cupping therapy, and trigger point release techniques to improve circulation, mobility, and neuromuscular function. He also incorporates craniosacral therapy to support nervous system regulation, structural balance, and deep restorative healing.
Dr. Aponte completed his Doctorate in Acupuncture, graduate training in Naturopathic Medicine, and advanced studies in Chinese Herbal Medicine at Bastyr University, with over 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience. His training allows him to integrate classical medicine with modern therapeutic strategies in a grounded, evidence-informed way.
At the core of Dr. Aponte’s work is a commitment to walking alongside patients through their individual journey toward health. He views healing as a process, not a protocol—one that evolves with each stage of life. His care is rooted in presence, education, and partnership, helping patients reconnect with their bodies, restore balance, and build sustainable, long-term wellness.
