Appointments – What to Expect

Please plan for 75-90 minutes at your first appointment. You will be asked to fill out a comprehensive intake form. Heather will review your health history with you then design a customized treatment plan to effectively address your concerns. Each plan is discussed with the patient before the series of treatment is begun. Follow-up appointments are 60 minutes.

Communication between practitioner and patient is essential to ensure the maximum benefits from each acupuncture session, and to achieve the desired results from the full course of treatment.

Insurance Accepted

Heather accepts insurance or cash payment at time of service. She is in-network with the following insurance providers:

  • Aetna
  • First Choice
  • United Health Care
  • Regence

She also accepts HSA and FSA cards or PIP (Personal Injury Protection) from auto accidents.

If your insurance is not listed here, Heather is out-of-network with your provider. Most insurance companies will cover Acupuncture benefits and we are happy to work with them on your behalf as an out-of-network provider.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact Heather at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a no-show fee. This allows us adequate time to offer your time slot to another patient.

Late cancellations (less than 36 hours notice) or no-shows will be charged a $50 fee. Thank you for your consideration.

Payment
All payments and co-pays are due at the time of service. Cash and checks are preferred. We also accept credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, HSA and FSA cards.
